John Marshall Health and Social Services Building Construction Update
As part of our on-call with the City of Albuquerque, DMA was tasked to complete a renovation of approximately 6,000 square feet of space at the John Marshall Health and Social Services building. The renovation was extensive and included alterations to the original layout and upgrades to finishes, roof, HVAC, and lighting. Site improvements are also part of the renovations including accessibility improvements and new landscape. The overall goal of the design was to provide an updated and functional space layout and accentuate the existing historic features of the building by keeping some of the original materials and forms. The interior was modernized and will provide open and welcoming spaces for employees and community gatherings.
As of right now, our team is in the last phase of construction. The smaller items being completed are interior finishes such as lighting, finishes, and exterior elements like decorative panels on the site fencing and window shade structures. Major items include HVAC equipment and electrical upgrades.
Completion of the project is scheduled for early November 2023. Stay tuned for the final photos!
