Client: Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA)

The NTUA Fort Defiance District Office is an office building designed to provide an updated and dynamic workplace and enhanced work environment for the staff of NTUA within the region. Spaces within the building include private offices and open work areas for shared working as well as conference rooms. The office building also offers services to the public and provides areas for customer service and conference rooms to assist customers. Other community spaces include a large conference room and an outdoor courtyard.
The design of the facility is inspired by the surrounding natural landscape. The exterior of the building incudes turquoise accent colors and wood soffits. The interior color palette includes colors from the natural vegetation surrounding the project site. The building also includes design elements from the main NTUA Headquarters building to provide a consistent look between the various buildings that are associated with NTUA.
