Client: Mescalero Apache

Location: Mescalero, NM

Size: 20 acre site

The scope of this project includes Master Planning of a new Adult/Juvenile Justice Center, to include alternatives to incarceration as well as new permanent law enforcement, courts and adult & juvenile detention facilities.  The Master Plan provides sufficient information for the Mescalero Apache Tribe to seek funding to design and construct the new facility.

Our team conducted intensive client workshops and interviews through community charrettes, to gain valuable feedback from project stakeholders. The team conducted site reviews to determine the best location for the new facility, and identified a potential site south of Mescalero, NM.
