The Ak-Chin Indian Community Housing project consists of 22 new single-family homes, of which three are HUD homes. The design incorporates similar features of the existing community homes but with an updated look and functionality. The floor plans include three- and four-bedroom homes. Design features include a high cathedral ceiling in the main living areas, niche space for display, walk-in closets, tubular skylights, covered front and back patio porches and an entry courtyard. The exterior wall system consists of an insulated post-tensioned concrete unit masonry system with a stucco finish. Included with this development is an eight-home/lot subdivision planned and designed for future construction using the same three- and four-bedroom floor plans.
